What is HICademy?

HICademy seeks to serve the mission and sustain the objectives of Habitat International Coalition (HIC) representing a particular effort in strengthening and training HIC members, organizations and individuals, as well as to consolidate the Coalition’s capacities as a whole.
This effort, therefore, pursues the following dual purpose:

  • To improve the skills, knowledge and praxis of HIC members and of all people interested in habitat fields including in the subfields of gender, human rights, environment, production and other areas.
  • To consolidate, reserve and facilitate the delivery of the tools and techniques of accumulated HIC expertise through an efficient and effective interactive system, accessible to everyone.

How to use it?

HICademy contains three sections:  the habitat ‘key words’ section; the ‘training and internships’ section, and; the ‘habitat themes’ section which stores HIC members’ articles, documents, news, and events.
HICademy may be used by all people interested in habitat issues who are seeking information, elaborating studies, willing to share their experiences and knowledge, and those who want to train, offer or seek internships.
