HIC President offers insights from the Coalition to face the Covid-19

Adriana Allen, HIC President, offers the insights of the Coalition in the Covid-19 crisis and beyond the pandemic.

This presentation is developed during the Global Platform for the Right to the City Assembly. Since the beginning of the crisis of the Covid-19, our coalition has been working on three fronts:

  • First, creating spaces for dialogue and learning to make sense of what this emergency means for the most vulnerable.
  • Second, and acknowledging that COVID19 didn’t come with a manual, we are supporting exchanges and documenting localized responses to the crisis.
  • Last, but not least, we are constantly focusing on advocating for the radical changes required.
