Submission of Themes

"This time we should try to start the preparation early enough!
I think, the urban spot or space at the ESF in Athens was a very
good experience. We should try to do that again.
Events should be more participant orientated and strategic. And better
prepared than some at ESF Athens.
Of course we should even work on the campaign experiences.
Last but not least we should try to build cross-issue coalitions with
other forces trying to achieve more impact and attraction. We have a lot
of such themes. For instance
– housing/urban development as part of the struggle for another EU
– housing/urban/territories and alternatives to finacial globalisation /
– corporate accountabilty
– social production of habitat and alternative economy
– housing and migration
– right to land and the right to food
– consequences of EPAs on housing and land rights
– right to housing and labour/welfare
– repression against housing activists
– housing crisis and squats"
