Women Environmental Programme

Women Environmental Programme, a Nigerian NGO will be commemorating this year’s World Habitat Day with a drama theatre on the theme of this years WHD “A SAFE CITY IS A JUST CITY” in Abuja targeting the people living in slums, policy makers and government representatives to create awareness on this year’s theme. Also as part of the activities, WEP and the communities in the Federal Capital Territory of Nigeria will be formally launching the urban people’s forum called “Federation of Urban People (FEDUP). This event is expected to bring together over 500 people to the city of Abuja on the 5th October 2007.
