The HIC side event was held on the 20th of February 2019, from 1:15pm- 2:30pm in Conference room A. The meeting counted with the participation of about 46 people.
Stop Evictions in Zimbabwe
On 8 January 2019, 1,000 families from Mzaro Farm in Masvingo West were served eviction orders signed by the Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement. The deadline for
eviction was set for seven days later, on 15 January 2019. However, as of 4 February 2019 the inhabitants remain on their land.
