Anthology of feminist thoughts for architecture

This work arises from the conviction of the importance of incorporating the gender perspective as an analytical and methodological category to approach reality, as well as feminist theories and practices for the critical reconsideration of the environment we inhabit, of the project and of theory. We inhabit an androcentric and patriarchal social and physical environment of thought that has generated a falsely neutral system of knowledge and that has left out the contributions of women throughout history, and this is an omission that society can no longer afford. The anthology is made up of 36 texts published between 1961 and 2011, many of them unpublished in Spanish, which form an essential part of the body of feminist thought. Although not all of them are included, they serve as a starting point and we hope that they will encourage people to continue in this search, which is as exciting as it is essential. [-]
