Rethinking Cross-Urban Solidarity-Germany April 24th-27th

On April26-27th, it
will be held in Wupperthal, Germany, a meeting entitled “26
and April 27 will be held in Wupperthal, Germany,a meeting entitled “Mapping the International Solidarity” organized by the Rosa
Luxemburg Foundation, and in which international activists will
share their experiences of struggle and organization on many issues as
housing, migration, forms and organization of civil society strategies andsocial
movementsin general.You will find the program here and

On the evening of 24th and on 25th, there will be internal meetings
with activists and representatives of different networks,organizations,
movements fighting for the right to housing and the city in
Europe.These meetings aim to work towards a bettercoordination
between the involved actors and propose concrete actions of
solidarity in Europe, kind of initiatives we really need in
Europe to face in this dark period of austerity attacks.

HIC will be present at these meetings with the participation of Vanesa
Valiño, Observatory DESC, Spain and representative for HIC Europe at
the HIC Board, Bettina Koehler from Inura, Austria, and Charlotte Mathivet,
AITEC, France. These meetings
are organized by Knut Unger, Habitat Netz, a German HIC member.
