At the request of the Secretariat for the High-level
Panel of Eminent Persons on the Post-2015 Development Agenda (#Post2015HLP), the United Nations Non-Governmental Liaison Service (NGLS) facilitated
a civil society consultation through 11 January 2013 to inform the Panel’s
meeting in Monrovia, Liberia taking place from 30 January – 2 February.
The #Post2015HLP recently released a set of 24 framing
questions that the Panel
is considering over the course of its work. With guidance from NGLS, the
Panel’s Secretariat selected and re-organized approximately 2/3 of these
framing questions for a civil society consultation, avoiding repetition of
consultation topics already covered in the October /
November 2012 civil society consultation.
NGLS has produced a consultation synthesis report and delivered it to the
Panel for consideration in advance of its meeting in Monrovia.
