International Social Housing Festival (ISHF) 2022 will take place in Helsinki, Finland, on June 14–17. The 2022 edition of the ISHF explores housing as the foundation of good life. The festival highlights the role of social, public and co-operative housing in achieving socially and ecologically sustainable living in our cities now and in the future.
International housing community – housing practitioners, policymakers, architects, researchers and tenants – are welcome to take part in this critical conversation, ask questions and find answers together.
This festival is held every two years. HIC and its Members participated in the 2019 ISHF held in Lyon with some activities in order to create spaces for dialogue, reflection and action between social movements from different European countries on urban issues in the broad sense: housing, public services and public space, political participation, economic model, right to the city, among others.
